DesignJet, Large Format Printers & Digital Press

Hi,

I have HP Designjet 500 42in printer. And I can't update old drivers. I have downloaded drivers from New drivers

Installed new drivers and connected printer to computer. Printer installed itself. But checking driver version it shows 6.08 in (printer preference --> About) window.

I have deleted all drivers using pnputil.exe -d Oem#.inf and printui /s /t2 commands. All HP drivers was deleted from

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

and

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3

Installed new (8.10) drivers and pluged in printer. Printer was installed but with 6.08 drivers. So I went to "Print Management" as admin. Pressed on HP Designjet 500 42 by HP printer "Manage sharing" --> "Advansed" --> "New driver" --> "Have Disk" and in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository I chosed "dsgj510.inf_amd64_*****" folder and here dsgj510.inf file. But could not find "HP Designjet 500 42in printer". Here are only:

HP Designjet 500 42+HPGL2 Card; HP Designjet 500 plus 42; HP Designjet 500ps plus 42; HP Designjet 500PS42+HPGL2 Card; HP Designjet 510 42in Printer and HP Designjet 510ps 42in Printer.

I have tried to use HP Designjet 500 42+HPGL2 Card and HP Designjet 500 plus 42 drivers. But printer would give error message and will not print.

Using 6.08 driver version I can print from some software, but I need to print from AutoCAD. And AutoCAD gives me error message "None: This plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. The None plot device has been substituted." And I can't choose HP designjet 500 printer in AutoCAD.

It is a shared printer and other computers on the network have 8.10 drivers and can print from AutoCAD. Only computer the printer are pluged in can't print as it have 6.08 driver.
