Product: pavilion B&O

when i turn on my hp pavilion laptop it ask for power on password. after three tries it gives me a code the code is  { i   92917056 } I DONT KNOW IF THAT FIRST LETTER i is part of the code , but it is there. can anyone tell me how to get past this password or reset it.
