My Notebook PC automatically starts updating. It did not complete and displayed fatal error C0000022 applying update operation 138820 of 159704 message.
The operating system is Windows 8.1 but I don't know the bit size.
The only way to clear the displayed message is to turn off the PC by holding down the power button.
In the last month I have also had fatal error message C0000034 a number of times resulting in me having to restore the PC back to factory setting to resolve the problem.
Both errors have only come since I purchased a new HP ENVY 5544 printer. This may be coincidental.

The PC starts diagnosing and gives me a number of options but all end up with the fatal error message.
What needs to be done to get me back a usable PC?
