Hello,

 

I can enter my HP laptop BIOS as guest, but not as Admin.

I bought the laptop with the package opened, at a discounted price, but it had a BIOS Admin password set by the PC store. I want to reset this password. I contacted the Romanian HP Support Center and a gentleman told me I have to wait for the US support team to create a binary file that will allow me to reset the password.

I waited for approximately 10 days without ANY feedback.

 

The PC store told me I can send the laptop to them to try and reset the password, but I would rather reset the password myself. Does it take such a long time to create that executable?

 

I appreciate any help.
