I've been dealing with the issue for months now. It stater after some updates HP Support Assistant recomended. The computer won't shut down properly. The screen shuts off but the rest of the computer keeps going and I have to force the shut down. If I put it to sleep or hibernate is the same problem, plus when I open the laptop it does not wake up again. The temporary solution I noticed is restarting the computer and when it logs in, telling it to shut down. It then does it properly. I was recomended before to uninstall the updates, which I did, and the problem remained. A re-installed the updates and I still have the problem. The rest of the computer is working swiftly, the only porblem is the one mentioned before.
