Hello, My name's Ashleigh.
I got a model HP 15-f387wm for my birthday (march 12th, purchased and arrived the week of easter, which was in april.)
I purchased this product from walmart, and It has a warranty.
Yes I know I'd need to ask Walmart about the warranty itself, but what things could a warranty cover?
The issue is when cleaning a sticky key, I used paper towel and lysol. Usually it wouldn't affect anything, but all of a sudden my keyboard wouldn't function at all.
After being told to remove my keys, (you'll see exactly why I was afraid to do so in just a bit) the W key's latch broke off and it will not stay in place.
I got scared and decided to let it air-dry. (Has been doing so for 3 weeks and counting)
Every once in a while, one of the rows will randomly work. Funny enough it isnt one of the rows I need to enter my password 😛
Ive had a warranty cover an overheated computer before, so I thought it could cover my issues here too.
If not I could always get a wireless keyboard!
My questions are,
1. What does the warranty cover, and
2. Can It cover both of my issues?
Many thanks, Ashleigh.
