Product: Hp EliteBook 745 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My laptop charger recently fell in water. It was in there for about 50 seconds, after it fell in, the sockets in my house automatically went off shutting off just the electronics (wi fi, television, sky box, etc...) but not the lights or anything else. After I realised this I essentially took the two sections of the charger and put them outside to let them dry. After about 30-40 minutes I tried charging my laptop again (very stupid of me) making the electronics in the house go out again. At that I tried using the rice technique leaving it for the night. The incident happened at 8-9 pm and it has been in the rice for the whole night. This morning when I woke up I tried charging the laptop once again but it just won't charge. What should I do. Any help would be very appreciated, thank you for your time.
