My display is now 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than the monitor screen size -- and icons/images are slightly distorted. Cause of reduced display size is unknown (possible cat on keyboard or inadvertent pressing of monitor controls). HP desktop and monitor are 5+ years old, with updated Windows 10 and device drivers). Windows 10 display recommended resolution is 1024-768, but it provides 1280-1024 option (selecting 1280-1024 does not seem to change display size). Resolution indicated using monitor controls is 1920-1080. HP website recommends 1600x1280 for 20" or larger monitors. Have tried ctrl+0 or control+39 (simultaneous or sequential) and other recommended fixes. No luck yet.
