Hello,
I just bought the HP specter x360, 2017 model and I tried connecting my HP 27ea monitor to it via a USB-C to mini DisplayPort adapter. The problem is that my laptop won't detect the monitor. I tried using both the USB-C ports on the laptop but I got the same result.
I searched the forums and apparently many people had the the same problem but I couldn't find a solution. Hence, I thought I'd ask a question that has my specific laptop model which I use. Any help would be appreciated.
The USB-C to Mini Display Port cable that I am using can be found on this link - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZU1TXHA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hope to get this solved soon as its a major hassle and shame that such a simple thing is causing such problems.
Thanks!
