Product: HP Wireless Optical Mouse
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP wireless optical mouse scroll wheel stopped scrolling. The wheel merely spins without making contact with anything, resulting in no clicks and no scrolling on screen. Both buttons still work. Is there any way to fix the spinning wheel? The mouse is not new and previously worked well. Apologies if I leave out technical information. Operating windows 10. The mouse came with a keyboard with the Envy desktop.

Appreciate any assistance.
