Hi.
After upgrading from 8gb ram (2x4gb) to 16gb (4x4gb), my pc won't start at all, and outputs a serie of 4 or 5 beeps.
I actually hear it trying to boot repeatedly every 1 or 2 seconds.
I can't even access the bios (updated to v03)
I thoroughly checked each ram stick, and slot combination: they all work individually in every slot, or by pairs (slots 1 & 3 or slots 2 & 4), but not when I insert the 4 sticks at the same time.
I also checked installing them in different order in the 4 slots (incrementally then decrementally with their serial number, or randomly)
Of course they are all the same make and model, come from the same batch and I chose them according to the HP recommended specs:
Corsair 4GB DDR3 Value Select PC3-12800 1600MHZ - voltage 1.5V
Thank you for your help and happy new year!
Stephane
