HP ENVY m7 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been using the built in speakers on my HP ENVY my notebook for some time without issue.

In that, I can use the Bang & Olufsen app equalizer to change how things sound.

No issues at all.

I like it.

Recently, I purchased a new JBL Bluetooth speaker. (Flip 4.)

I paired it with my notebook.

But the B&O equalizer dosen't seem to have any effect on the output sound.

I can play radio stations from my notebook and hear things through the Bluetooth speaker.

But, it sounds, well, not so nice.

So, I wanted to augment the sound via the B&O app.

But, the B&O app dosen't make any difference (to the output sound) regardless of the equalizer selections.

The same speaker sounds fabulas when connected via bluthooth to my phone.

By the way.

Just for grins and giggles ....

I paired an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker ($12.00 at Walmart. I've had it for some time.) with the notebook.

Just like the JBL speaker, the inexpensive speaker worked when playing radio stations and music from my hard drive.

But, the B&O apps behavior, was identical in that the equalizer wouldn't work regardless of what selections I chose.

Any idea what I might do in order to get the B&O app to work with a Bluetooth speaker ?

Thanks
