I recently did a full clean install of Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) on an HP 15-bs062st that was going spare. Apparently this make and model of HP only supports official drivers for Windows 10, but I was able to find acceptable Win7-liking drivers for all but two devices in the device manager: the "Network Controller" and an "unknown device" which may or may not be the accelerometer that lifts the heads off the disk in case you drop the computer or whatever. I am totally unable to get the laptop's WiFi to notice any local hotspots and I strongly suspect the broken network controller. Can anyone guide me to a Windows 7 driver that likes the Network Controller in this model of laptop? Also, any resources to figure out what this unknown device is would be helpful, just in case my suspicion is wrong and/or it contains something else that's critical. Can provide further information on request, I just don't know what y'all need.
