Pavilion 14-bk063st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an hp pavilion 14-bk063st laptop, and I just bought two HP VH240a monitors and a Dell USB C Business Dock WD15 with 180W adapter. Before buying the dock, I was assured by Dell that this entire system would work. I have the first monitor connected to the dell dock via an HDMI to HDMI cable, and the second monitor connected to the dock via an HDMI to mini display port cable, and then a usb C cable connected to my hp pavilion laptop. For some reason, my laptop recognizes the dock when it is connected (A Generic USB Hub and a USB composite device both show up in the device manager underneath the USB controllers section, and there is the usual sound that goes on and off when the usb c cable is plugged in and out) but the monitors say no input signal found. I have tried connecting the monitors one by one directly into my laptop without the dock and they work fine. However, the strangest part is that if I connect my iPhone via a usb cable to the dell dock (with the usb C cable still connected to the dock and my laptop), my laptop will recognize that my phone has been plugged in, just like it would if I directly connected the usb from my iPhone to my laptop. I have tried downloading new drivers for the dell dock, but the "DellDockingStationFwUp_1.0.0.8_20161220_WD15" Firmware update will not run on my laptop. Now a support person from Dell claims that the dock is not compatible with my laptop, but if that were entirely true, I don't think it would recognize my phone through the dock. Additoinally, the dock is not charging my laptop either. Does anyone have any idea how to get this working? Thank you in advance for all the help and/or suggestions!
