Hello.
I am having issues with "System Base Driver" in device manager. I have always ignored this as it did not affect usage of the machine.
However, I have recently tried attaching a Thunderbolt capable external HDD to the machine and found this is the Thunderbolt driver. If I plug a Thunderbolt cable into the machine, Windows chimes in that something new was connected, but the system does NOT recognize a specific device. in this case, the external HDD and device manager adds "System Base Driver" to Other Devices.
The hardware IDs are:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_156A&SUBSYS_11112222&REV_00
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_156A&SUBSYS_11112222
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_156A&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_156A&CC_0880
This machine was Win 7 Pro out of the box, i upgraded it to a clean of Win 10 Enterprise. I need to know if there are Windows 10 compatible drivers or if this machine may have to be rolled back to Win 7 Pro.
I can post other codes from device manager if needed.
Thank you.
