Details:
HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower (Intel 8 series - Q87 Chipset)
Windows 10 1709 x64
Problem:
When I installed my OS from scratch, Windows 10 installed all of my drivers, except the USB 3.0 controller.
It has recognised my Intel 8 series/C220 chipset and installed the two USB 2 controllers, but hasn;t found the USB 3.
I have tried downloading drivers from HP and Intel, but I can only find Win7 drivers for this and I get a message saying that my PC does not meat the minimum requirement to install the driver.
I cannot locate a driver anywhere for the Intel 8 Series/C220 (Q87) Chipset / USB 3.0 host controller for Windows 10.
I have checked all my BIOS settings and everything is set correctly.
Any assistance/advice you can offer would be most welcomed.
Thanks.
