Dear members of the HP forum,

 

I would highly appreciate your help with the following problem:

 

I try to connect my new HP laptop   (Pavilion Laptop 14-bf0xx) to Sony smart TV (Sony KD-49XD8099), it connects but screen is "frozen" - it shows my desktop background on TV but with no program icons and doesn't reflect any activity on my laptop display (opening and/or closing programs).

 

Any suggestions on how to fix that would be highly welcome.
