Product: HP Pavilion 570-p054
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a HP Pavillion 570-p054 and I've been looking to upgrade its processor. On the computer's page it says the highest I can upgrade to is the i7 7700, because you can't overclock on the Lubin motherboard. I was wondering if I could use something using the same LGA 1151 socket to get a better processor, for example the i7-7700k, with similar or the same wattage usage, just without the overclock features. I wanted to get the 7700k because I might get a better motherboard in the future and I don't feel like buying a whole other processor.
Thanks,
