Product: HP Envy x360 15.6” w/ AMD Ryzen 7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I purchased my laptop yesterday afternoon and I got messages to update BIOS, UEFI and drivers through HP Assitant today. I began updating everything and now my laptop is frozen with this message display:
Version 3.8.0.0
An important System BIOS update is available.
Do not shut down or remove power from your computer during the process.
For more information please visit: www.hp.com/go/tech center/startup
12
At the bottom are three options: Apply Update Now, Postpone Update, Cancel Update.
Apply Update Now appears to be selected as the other two are black boxes and Apply Update Now’s box is greyed out. The fan is running currently. What should I do?
