Product: HP Pavilion 15-au018wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I’ve had my laptop for about 3 years now and it was working fine it just started to slow down and lag a bit, so I decided to back up my files to a usb and just do a full factory reset through HP recovery manager.
It went through the entire reset fine until it got to a screen that says ‘OOBEWELCOME’ and gave me no options except to try again or skip, but when I would try again it wouldn’t work and just went back to the same screen so I decided to skip; it then went to ‘OOBEREGION’ and did the exact same thing so I skipped.
Finally got to the network screen where it asks me to login to my WiFi, which I did successfully only to hit next and it goes to a page that says ‘OOBEEULA’ that’s comepletly blank and only gives the option to try again and this time I can’t skip and no matter how many times I hit try again it just keeps taking me back to this page.
I’ve tried shutting the computer down and restarting it, it just went back to the same screen. I’ve tried hitting Esc+F11 and just starting the recovery process over again just for it to go through the entire thing and get to the same point. It’s been doing this for the past 8 hours or so and I don’t know what else to do
