All in One 22-2012na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I've been trying to protect my PC from the Spectre/Meltdown threat and have waited for HP to let me know when the BIOS update was available.

I have now found there is an update but I have a choice of 2 depending on my ROM Family SSID.

I have tried many so called solutions to id my motherboard/BIOS with no avail.

(Just after purchasing this PC which had Windows 8.1 I was offered and upgraded to Windows 10)

I have tried ctrl+alt+s which does not give me motherboard/BIOS details:-

Model #: 22-2012na
Product #: K2E90EA#ABU
Serial #: ***********
Software Build #: 14WE3HRA603#SABU#DABU
Service ID #: 20150118
PCBRAND #: HP
neither does System Info:- "Baseboard Manufacturer - HP - Name "Baseboard" - Model "Unavailable",

and cmd prompt -

wmic bios get biosversion

gives me - BIOS Version/Date - AMI 80.05, 21/10/2014   -   SMBIOS Version - 2.8

These are the 2 updates offered:-

HP All-in-One 22-xxxx (ROM Family SSID 2B3C)
A0.10
SP87680
HP All-in-One 22-xxxx (ROM Family SSID 2B40)
A0.16
SP85264

Can anyone tell me which is the one for me?

Many thanks for any help or advice,

Jon C.
