I have recently acquired an older desktop computer hp pavilion a6700y running Windows Vista 64bit and wanted to know if it could be upgraded to any other Windows operating system. The computer was purchased with Vista preinstalled so there is no install disc. I have asked the Microsoft community and didn't get any where with that. I pretty sure Windows 10 is out of the question. I was hoping Windows 7 might be a possibility. Since this system hasn't been updated means it's running and old version of Internet Explorer which means not all websites will work. What is the next step? Is it possible to do anything with this desktop or is it to late. Please let me know. Thanks.
