Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi !

I have an elitebook 8460p notebook pc . several months ago i created a password on bios.

 

Today i tried to access the bios setup ( in order to remove the bios password ) But  i failed because i forgot the login password. can anyone help ??

 

I saw on the internet someone say i should contact hp support and send them serial numbers so that they can send me the solution. other people say i should find this utility 'smc.bin' but cant find where to download it.

any help is appreciated
