Suddenly my recording via the internal microphone has stopped.
Via the "Volume" icon on the Taskbar, I right mouse-button clicked, selected "Sounds" and under the "Recording" Tab of the "Sound" Panel I found that no devices were showing at all, just a message saying "No audio devices are installed"
I right mouse-button clicked in that panel and selected both options to "Show Disabled" and "Show Disconnected".
Still there is a blank panel under "Recording" stated "No audio devices are installed".
I tried re-installing sound drivers, and updating drivers, all to no avail.
I even uninstalled the last Windows update, but it still persists.
Even if my Internal microphone was faulty, surely other recording devices would show?
I think that a missing Integrated Microphone array may be the problem, but I do not know what to do next.
Any ideas?
