Hi I inherited a Hp Pavilion G6 which was running Windows 8 but sadly the hard disk died. I installed a new SSD drive and installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit as I no longer had any of the original disks that came with the machine and I prefered this OS. The sticker which was once on the machine with the Windows licence and serial number of the laptop has also gone so I don't know the extact version of the laptop but it was bought shortly before 2014.
I have Windows 7 now installed and it is showing warning exclamation marks against Ethernet Controller, Network Controller, PCI Device, PCI Simple Communication Controller, SM Bus Controller, USB Controller and Unknown Device. All devices need the driver installed but don't provide any further information about them. I have no access to the internet AT ALL. I am using another laptop to connect. I tried installing HP Support Solutions Framework and some drivers for pavilion G6 but I they weren't the correct drivers and didn't appear to do anything. Most of the links on line wants to install a driver manager rather than the driver and then want to connect to the internet during install. One at least did tell me my Network Card is a RAS Async Adapter.
I can't seem to get this driver on line without ending up with a package which wants to connect to the internet first. Can you help me? Other details identified about the laptop include Intel Core i3 3110M CPU@2.4GHz, Motherboard is Ivy Bridge.
