Product: HP ENVY All-in-One PC 27-b155qd
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i7 cpu Win 10 PC. 

 

1903 fails due to error message that Intel RST file iaStorA.sys is no up to date ver 15.2.0.1020 to old.

HP has no updated download for Intel RST new enough.

HP list the Envy AIO 155 1903 compatible.

 

My IDE ATA/ATAPI controller did update to Intel RST 17.5.1.1021 via the Intel update download but DID NOT update the iaStorA.sys file? and did update a file iaStorAC.sys file to 17.5.1.1021 (see attached).

 

Could the iaStorA.sys files be deleted? 

 

Is the cause Intel RST not compatible with the new M.2 PCIe NVMe 256GB SSD from Samsung (MZVPW256HEGL-000H1) ?
