Since latest Windows update the touchpad & mouse has been behaving erratically on both my HP Notebook & Omen laptop (both machines updated a few days apart)
The curser keeps highlighting everything on screen and the scroll bars don't function properly scrolling all the way down on its own when I attempt to scroll. When moving cursor across screen, it also opens a blue-lined box which expands as I scroll, I have to double click then right click to get rid of it but it just starts doing it all over again.
I have tried all the usual fixes, upgrading drivers messing about with the mouse settings etc. On the Omen I even did a clean reset and all I have on screen now is the recycle bin and Microsoft Edge and the problem IS STILL THERE! Am now using the older HP Notebook which has the same problem with the scroll bar but not as bad as the Omen.
Any help greatly appreciated.
