Howdy, y'all...
I had a very nice Christmas gift for finishing a major life's goal. An HP Omen 17-cb0221ng gaming notebook. It plays all games I throw at it very well, streaming well, runs multiple applications with no lag or fuss at all; BUT, one very big problem. The audio sucks...
Most help tutorials direct you to go into the audio settings and click an enable Audio Enhancements. For whatever reasons, the mind-hive at HP took out the Audio Enhancements option in the Windows 10 software. I've looked at third-party audio enhancers like DFX etc... but I get pissed at the fact on why should more money be spent just to hear my laptop's audio??? So, I'm not going to buy third-party software. I recently read that people are installing Bang and Olufsen Audio and it's fixing the issue, only I can't find software licensed for my HP laptop... Anyone here know anything? It would be appreciated greatly...
So, my HP Omen is a very nice laptop that I'm sure I'll use for years on end, however, if y'all can help me with the audio features that would make the computer nearly perfect.
Thanks for reading. I hope someone has a NON-CANNED HELPFUL SOLUTION to the issue posted here.
