My Spectre X360 laptop is a few years old and now the volume bar is stuck in the upper left of the screen at 100%. I have read every thread i can find and tried the recommendations regarding device manager, drivers, uninstalling, windows updates, etc..
The volume keys on the key board and side of the laptop do not feel to be physically stuck. I can press volume down on keyboard and right side of laptop and get volume down to 0% but as soon as I release pressure the volume goes back up to 100% as if it is being constantly increased. The mute button will occasionally flash but the volume stays on.
This problem has appeared in the past but usually a windows update clears it up. Sometimes the problem goes away but then later reappears.
I am running the latest windows 10 home version available to me. Have been on Windows 10 since August 2019.
