Since 1 week, whenever I start up my computer, the Synaptics Touchpad Driver won't start up automatically, and I have to manually go to Touchpad Settings in Control Panel, open Extra settings for the driver to be activated.
I have tried a reboot with all non-Microsoft services turned off to check for software interference. Also, I edited the registry DeleteUserSettingOnUpgrade in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARESynapticsSynTPInstall to 0. However, the problem keeps occurring.
Is there anyone who has come across the same problem and has found a solution?
I am using the Synaptics Touchpad Driver version 19.5.10.75, which is an older driver, but I wish not to update it because it caused loss of various functions (as i've mentioned here).
