Windows found drivers for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install them. IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. A device attached to the system is not functioning. 

Seems person after person on this thread is having the same issues and all the other forums I have looked on, there is no resolve from HP.

Not good enough from HP - there should be a fix in place for this!  It can't be right that nothing works, surely?!?  These are expensive pieces of equipment with beatsaudio by no one can use it!

I've been through the virtual assistant and to no avail. Even installed an independent device driver as recommended by someone on another thread however it is chargeable for it to install the audio drivers on the PC!

Help! please.
