Hi.
I am trying to install ZCentral Connect Manager on a server but I'm getting the message and I wonder if it's down to the complexity requirements of our service accounts. The Service account I'm trying to use can log in to the host server itself, but the installer wont accept the very same log-in credentials. Error message:
"The service account was unable to be validated.
Reason: Invalid account format. Valid format is 'domain\username'".
Our Service account is in the format:
Username - z-svc.SYSmanagement (note the "-" and full stop in the user name.
the password is 40 characters long, and is mix of numbers, lower and upper-case letters and many different symbols.
Should these complexity restrictions cause and issue. If a try a standard account, such as "A12345", just to see what happens, it is happily accepted.
Many thanks,
Steve
