I'll try make this as short as possible. So it all started with one of my usb ports stopping to work, i thought probably the usb port is not faulty cause the other 2 were working alright and power was still passing through it, i tried it out with my phone and i could charge it on the usb port but my laptop was not recognizing. Shortly after one of the usb ports on the other side stopped working as well, i began looking for solutions and reinstalling the usb drivers was the best looking solution.

I proceeded to installing all that and chipset drivers as well. But this did reaped no good news. I looked through community solutions and tried other solutions like performing a system restore but i had none saved. So I tried then reinstalling the OS with a fresh windows but still nothing.  By this time now my third usb stopped working.

Then i found a solution that mentioned Resetting Bios by removing the lil CMOS battery found on the back of the motherboard, after trying this method my laptop could no longer boot to windows. I will post the pictures of the errors.

The error is Boot Device Not Found, Hard Disk (3FO)

So i proceeded to seeing the solution on this error and the solution was to use Intel Optane memory but i couldnt do so because I could not find the Intel Optane Memory options in the BIOS system.

I found another solution that talked about running an extensive Hard Disk check, I ran one for both disks in my laptop, The one that i had installed windows on was hard disk 1 my 128gb ssd and it passed all tests, my second hard disk is a 1TB harddrive, this hard drive reported a Long DST Failed and SMART check PASSED. I looked up the solutions and I found out it means I have a faulty hard drive that is dying and needs to be replaced.

But i needed my laptop to boot to windows since the drive thats faulty is the HDD not the SSD i install windows on, now my usb ports still dont work so I have to install windows using a  DVD but when i tried to use a windows 7 Disc to install windows it says there the 3FO error. I tried putting my SSD in another notebook to see if it was gonna work and it did, it loaded the windows and everything though the laptop I tried it on is not an HP. 

So thing i was wondering is, can the second Hard drive with no windows installed on it be the reason i cant load windows or anything. i wonder if removing it completely would make the the computer recognize the windows 7 DVD.  one more thing is when i go to the boot options to try and maybe select the disc drive, there are no boot options to pick from.

I've tried so many of the community solutions and have nothing working for me, I'm contemplating taking it to a computer repair place now cause I'm tired of failed solutions, so I wanted to find out if removing the faulty HDD will fix all the problems i have.
