I had to completely rebuild my computer after the free windows 10 that was sent out, my computer did not have the proper stuff to run it (working a windows 7). I never noticed that I was missing my wifi because I always have it plugged in direct. I paid for support though microsoft to help me rebuild but that time frame has expired. I know I'm running a dinosaur but it works for what I need. Is there anyway to get my wireless module fixed? This is what I get on start up:
HP Wireless Module not found
The system has detected that the Wireless module is not installed correctly or not functioning
Wireless Module (701)
Is there any way to fix this? Just out of curiosity really. I can continue to use it with direct wired internet. I know support for windows 7 is no longer available. I'm not that computer literate when it comes to systems and what all it takes to run it.
