I use a software at school called Examplify to take exams. I've been using it for well over a year and it's worked fine on my laptop. I had to take my laptop to the shop (for unrelated reasons) and had to get the motherboard replaced. Since then, the testing software believes I'm using a virtual machine. Hyper-V is disabled and I haven't found any other virtual machine software. I also tried disabling virtualization technology in BIOS but that wasn't an option for me. I've called Examplify and had a technician control my laptop remotely to figure out the problem, and they couldn't find anything wrong on their end. Are there any secret/obvious ways to disable virtual machines on my laptop that I'm missing? Thanks in advance!
