Several months ago, I began noticing that every text document I had on my Desktop would open as "Read Only". Also right about this time, I became unable to save any type of file to my Desktop. When attempting to do so, I'd get a message to the affect of "C:\user\19517\desktop\download.(filename). It states that I don't have permission to save it here and would I like to choose another file instead. I've seen that many others have had this issue, but thusfar I've had no luck in finding advice that helped me remedy the situation. Any advice would be appreciated.
