Hi,
I have a MFP m277dw and today its started boot-loops with error 79. I already have tested a couple of things since internet mentioned that a corrupt print job could cause this.
What I did was a factory reset (check youtube how to perform that during boot of your printer.
Turned off all computers and made sure that no printjob was somewhere hanging.
When I power on the printer without the LAN cable connected the printer boots and everything looks fine. When I connect the LAN cable the error 79 pops up and boot-loops remains with this error. Note that no computers are powered during this test. I tried to update the device firmware via the menu without success, it looks like when connecting to the update server something causes this error.
Also I did a complete network equipment reset (turned off all switches, modems, etc) without any success.
Please help!
