Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just received my HP Reverb G2.

When I have tried connecting to USB Type C port on my MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC motherboard

or USB Type C on my MSI RTX 2080ti Gaming X Trio GPU the headset doesn't power.

It works with the USB C TO USB A adapter and power supply.

 

Should the USB C connections work with my GPU or motherboard or is it possible I have a faulty headset?
