Hi,

from time to time, I have problems with my external monitor, connected via USB-c to HDMI. Suddenly the display is black, starts flickering or something else so I have to deactivate it. The problem already exists a few years, but with better times and worse times. The last week is terrible, in nearly every session, the error occurs.

Could this problem be my cable? I already tried an adapter and a direct cable. I use Ubuntu and Win10, the error occurs in both OS. Interestingly, most of the time, it starts when I start a new application.

Does anyone have the same problem or an idea?
