This is supposed to be a WIndows Standard. Device works on my older (WindowsXP) computer, and on Macbook. HP Pavillion registers event error: USB Midi devices not working: Device USB\VID_0763 PID_0015 MI_00\6 1d68778 0 0000 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match. Last Device Instance Id: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 VEN_8086 DEV_2812 SUBSYS_80860101 REV_1000\4 3b5389fd 0 0201 Class Guid: {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} Location Path: Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFFFFFFF122 Present: false Status: 0xC0000719
Additional details: MIDI device is M-Audio Hammer-88. Computer recognizes USB device (in name only). It just seems that it is not recognized as a MIDI device, and/or MIDI just doesn't work.
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?
