My Pavilion sometimes won't accept charge. It has happened three times during the past 8 month (since purchase). I notice it when the laptop warns about low battery power, at ca 12%. This happens after I've had the AC-adapter plugged in for several hours, with the LED-indicator light orange, seeming to be charging. When checking the battery status it only tells me that I have 12% left, it shows that the cable is connected, but it does not charge. If I disconnect the cable and then connect it again, the battery starts charging for a couple of seconds, and then goes back to connected, but not charging.
The battery slowly drains while I try to fix the issue. It always ends with me ignoring the laptop and then leaving it to die... Then connecting it and miracously it starts charging.
I'm certain there's no issue with the battery or charger, so no hardware problem, but I cannot find the issue.
