The Windows 10 OS froze. This was not the first time. Previously, it would be resolved by rebooting. In extreme cases, had to turn off, remove all peripherals, push power button for a few minutes and boot again.
This time is different. I receive this message:
SMART Hard Disk Error
The SMART hard disk check had detected an imminent failure. To ensure no data loss, please backup the content immediately and run the Hard Disk Test in System Diagnostics.
Hard Disk 1 (301)
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI is run. But it says:
Testing Drive: 1
SMART Check : FAILED
Screenshots are attached. Does it mean the hard drive is faulty? Is there anything else to try?
