Hello everyone,
I recently took delivery of my G2, and everything's been working great besides an issue with my left speaker. It appears that no matter what I do, the left speaker crackles when reproducing certain frequencies. The most obvious instance is when firing up Skyrim VR, that bass-heavy drum sound makes the left speaker crackle quite a bit. The right speaker is completely fine regardless of audio level. Last time I heard any sort of crackling like that from headphones it was caused by an object on the actual driver membrane, usually a small hair or similar object.
Steps to mitigate this have included the following:
-Reducing volume level until crackle subsides (still present even at half volume)
-Reseating the headphone and tightening the screw to eliminate any issue with the connectors.
There are audio frequencies that the speaker otherwise reproduces just fine, but it can be really jarring when it starts crackling. This has been going on since day 1. Is there any other troubleshooting step I've missed? Additionally, is there another way to reach support other than the "Contact Us" page? I reside in Greece and any avenues to reach support are listed as temporarily unavailable.
Thank you in advance.
