Notebook Audio

Hi,i recently bought a hp pavilion gaming 15 (I710750H, 16gb RAM)  i need some help on my issue on high dpc latency when using a audio interface for recording audio. My interface is a focusrite 18i20 and i bought this laptop for recording and gaming as well and hopefully for live performance once theres live shows again. 

At 144ms buffer size, its manageable but at 144ms, there’s a lot of latency when recording. when I go down to 32 or 64ms so i can record my audio almost real time, there’s a lot of pops and cracks in my audio even when watching videos on YouTube.

When i remove my audio interface and run the default audio through computer speakers, everything is back to normal, there’s no pops and cracks on audio while gaming or watching Youtube videos. 

I find this weird because on my old toshiba laptop(i5, 8 gb ram) , i can run it to 64ms without any issues and on my old asus desktop (i7, 16gb ram) i can run it up to 32ms. I’m a little disappointed with my new hp laptop because its new but has issue on dpc latency and my audio interface worked swiftly on my old lptop and desktop

I tried troubleshooting it with the advice of focusrite support (installing the latest drivers both for the laptop and audio interface, turning off network adapters, other sound  drivers, other devices, configuring usb ports, etc) but still the problem persists. I also updated the hp drivers but theres still pops and cracks.

I ran the LatencyMon program and the laptop seems to have a high dpc latency and it advised me to disable the cpu throttling. I can’t find it in the bios though. How should i fix this or is there anyone in this forum who also encountered this problem when using audio interface, has a solution for it?  

Also, where can I find the cpu throttling menu and is it safe to turn it off? Or should i turn it off when recording then turn it on while playing games?
