HP M01-F1114
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. My work computer had been having trouble recently, and this weekend it stopped functioning completely. It was pretty old, so I decided to buy a new computer today in which to put my work SSD and continue working normally. The computer I bought was an HP M01-F1114.

Unfortunately, I cannot get it to detect and/or boot from my work SSD. All it wants to do is boot from the M2 SSD it came with. I don't want to use the M2 SSD, nor do I want a new install of Windows. I want to keep using the Windows install that is on my work SSD. I plugged my work SSD into my personal gaming PC, which took only ten seconds, and it worked flawlessly so it's not my work SSD that is the problem. It's also securely connected using the HP M01-F1114's SATA cable.

I even removed the M2 SSD from the motherboard so that it would boot from my work SSD, but instead it just acts like there's no hard drive plugged in at all. Upon booting it tells me "Boot device not found - please install an operating system on your hard disk." My work SSD already has Windows 10 installed on it.

The boot menu gives me two options - 'UEFI Boot Sources" and "Boot from EFI file". Nothing happens when I select the first option. The second option tells me "No valid file system available".

In the BIOS boot order section, the boot order is - "OS Boot Manager, USB Flash Drive/USB Hard Disk, Internal CD/DVD Drive, USB CD/DVD-DOM Drive, Network Adapter."

Hard drives should show up in the BIOS, right? Instead there's this 'OS Boot Manager' thing I've never heard of.

I would appreciate any help anyone can provide in getting my new PC to boot from my work SSD.
