So BernardoT asked this question in April and got a stock answer about resetting his PC. Like him, I am getting a random lockup with my device about 1 per week (it remains switched on at all times). There appears to be a link to the camera driver because after the fans speed up to full speed and the system locks up you have to reset using the power switch: the computer always fails to initiate the camera properly when it reboots - Windows Hello, which I default to face recognition, says the camera has failed and I need to enter a PIN. Shutting down the machine properly at this stage and restarting it reinitialises the camera OK. I very rarely have the problem when the machine is hibernating - it is almost always while I am using it with the screen on. My camera is always popped up and I am frequently on Microsoft Teams so a Teams-Camera-Driver clash cannot be ruled out. There is nothing in the event logs connected to the lock up and all my drivers etc are up to date both so far as HP is concerned and Microsoft also.
