Not sure if this is the right page to ask this. I recently bought an Envy x360 13 and wanted to know whether it would be able to upgrade to Windows 11 when it comes out. I've done some research and it seems that it meets the system requirements, though I'm not very well versed in understanding the technical requirements. I am just concerned as I had a look at the list HP has published and the Envy x360 15 is on there but not the 13... does this make a difference? Additionally it mentions that any "currently shipping" HP computers will support Windows 11. As far as I can tell, the 13" version of this laptop is not available to buy direct from HP anymore.
If I'm going to get a new laptop it's important to me that it will support the newest updates even if they are a year away--as a previous Mac user it takes a few years at least to become unable to install the newest OS so it would be a shame if I couldn't use the update with a new laptop. Could anyone let me know what I can do to check this definitively? I am still able to take the computer back so I have the option of choosing a different one.
