Hi there,
I was wondering if someone from the community could help me basically I have been getting static noise/crackling sound coming from my laptop. It happens whenever I play a videos with audio. It first happened a few months ago, I would be watching videos on Youtube with earphones plugged in and whenever there is audio a static/crackling sound would come from the headphones. I first thought that my earphones were damaged therefore purchased a new set however when I plugged in the new earphones the same problem happened. I used my brothers headphones (different brand) in case my new headphones were faulty however the issue still persisted. The crackling/static sound still happens when their is audio coming from the speakers. I know its an audio issue because if I play a video and have the audio on mute there is no crackling/static sound coming. I've contacted window support about this and the advisor went through a number of setting such as adjusting playback, updating drivers etc however no solution was found. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and found a solution to this.
Regards,
