Product: Envy Laptop, 13-ba
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
New HP Envy 13.3 2021 laptop, 11th gen i7. The laptop only has a USB C/Thunderbolt 3 connector/interface for Video. using an USB-C to Displayport cable I'm trying to connect to an ASUS 28" 4K UHD monitor. Laptop does not detect any monitor and the monitor says "no signal". Also tried connecting to a Samsung UHD monitor same result. I connected my HP desktop to the ASUS with a Displayport to Displayport cable, ASUS monitor works great. It's like the USB C - displayport is not working or enabled? It could be the USB-C to Displayport cable but it's brand new high quality 8K rated cable.
