HP Envy laptop had originally a 500 GB HDD I clone that drive onto a 1 TB SSD (WD BLUE). two days ago the drive failed, it seems as to be hardware failure, for I have tried everything possible with any software that I have and did so on different systems by putting drive into a USB enclosure, as soon as I connect that drive to a computer it freezes, if I turn on any computer to which I have connected the drive to a USB port prior to turning it on, it simply do not advance towards booting.
All WinPE USB drives and/or discs with plenty of troubleshooting tools also freeze, the only one that advanced towards booting but finally without any of its tools detecting the failed drive was the new version of HIren's BootCD PE
The problem is that I had the rescue partition on that drive too, what can I do to be able to use a different SSD on my HP Envy, for I don't want to buy a copy of Windows nor go through the process of searching for the particular drivers for the peripherals in my laptop.
I lost my OS and the capacity to reinstall it, please help, thank you.
